YNW Bortlen Transferred to New Jail, Launch Date Pushed Again

YNW Bortlen has been transferred to a brand new jail and has been given a brand new launch date.

After first being transferred to the South Florida Reception Middle, a state jail in Miami-Dade County, Fla., following his plea deal, Bortlen, born Cortlen Henry, is now a resident of the Madison Work Camp in Madison, Fla., in response to police information obtained by XXL on Thursday (Oct. 9). Along with the relocation, Bortlen’s launch date has been prolonged. His preliminary launch date was listed as Jan. 6, 2032. It’s now Sept. 22, 2033.

The explanation for the replace is unclear. XXL has reached out to YNW Bortlen’s lawyer for remark.

On Sept. 9, Bortlen accepted a plea deal in connection together with his position within the YNW Melly double homicide case. He pleaded no contest to accent after the actual fact and witness tampering fees. In change, two homicide fees in opposition to him have been dropped.
