In a latest interview with Chuck Armstrong of Loudwire Nights, Witherspoon was requested if he and his SEVENDUST bandmates are engaged on materials for the follow-up to their newest album, “Fact Killer”, which was launched in July 2023 through SEVENDUST‘s new label house, Napalm Data. He responded: “Sure, issues are within the works… We at the moment are trying contained in the SEVENDUST music field with 20 or so songs that we’re form of weeding via proper now to see what we like, [that] we’re gonna work with this. And these are the cats within the band which are writing stuff and sending it in and put it into the field.”
He continued: “Actually, I really feel like our greatest work is once we get collectively in a room in a setting once we are with the devices, simply these younger males like we have been once we first began. That is the place the magic occurs. So we’re already within the making of coming to the farmhouse. [We’re] simply making an attempt to determine a date in between, ‘trigger we have got a variety of stuff to do. Even after the DISTURBED run, I believe we solely have per week off earlier than we get on the CREED cruise. However, sure, we’re writing an album. SEVENDUST‘s fourth studio album, “Seasons” was the band’s closing LP with TVT Data and was devoted to the reminiscence to each Dave Williams (DROWNING POOL‘s unique singer),who died of cardiomyopathy in August 2002, and Reginald Witherspoon (Lajon Witherspoon‘s youthful brother),who was murdered in November 2002.
“Seasons” was, for a time, the band’s final album with Lowery as he left in 2004. Lowery returned to SEVENDUST in March 2008 and has remained with the group ever since.
