The Soiled Nil have shared the most recent style of upcoming album ‘The Lash’ within the type of cathartic, hardcore-laced single ‘Fail In Time’.
With ‘The Lash’ set for launch on July 25 by way of Dine Alone Data, it follows current singles ‘Gallop Of The Hounds’, ‘Rock N’ Roll Band’ and ‘Spider Dream’.
Uncooked, loud, and refreshingly bleak, on ‘Fail In Time’ frontman Luke Bentham has shared:
“When true pleasure enters your life, you realize it’s bought a return ticket to wherever it got here from. I wrote the refrain of the music first and wished to make the verses as triumphant as potential – we even bought an I Suppose You Ought to Depart reference into the second. Then we hit the pre-chorus the place happiness begins to fade. The refrain is about realizing it’s over… that little spark is gone. [Engineer] Vince [Solivari] insisted we put a hardcore breakdown in on the finish and I’m glad we listened to him.”
