Robbie Williams & Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi Staff Up On ‘Rocket’

Robbie Williams has unveiled the music video for ‘Rocket’, his collaboration with metallic legend Tony Iommi.

The Black Sabbath icon performs on the monitor which is taken from Williams’ forthcoming album ‘Britpop’, mentioned to be impressed by UK artists and the rock of the mid 90s.

Williams mentioned “It was the height of Britpop and a golden age for British Music. I’ve labored with a few of my heroes on this album; it’s uncooked, there are extra guitars and it’s an album that’s much more upbeat and anthemic than typical. There’s some ‘Brit’ in there and there’s definitely some ‘pop’ too – I’m immensely happy with this as a physique of labor and I’m excited for followers to listen to this album.”

The monitor’s music video was directed by Charlie Lightening, and options Robbie making his manner round London wearing a punk-inspired outfit, whereas different scenes have been shot with Tony Iommi in his hometown, Birmingham.

No phrase but on who the opposite collaborators on the album could also be however Robbie Williams has beforehand collaborated with SOFT PLAY on their monitor ‘Punk’s Lifeless’ so hopefully ‘Rocket’ is not going to be the one heavy second he has lined up.

Williams kicks off his stadium tour in Edinburgh on Might 31.

In the meantime, Black Sabbath will reunite for a remaining present in Birmingham this July alongside an enormous lineup together with Metallica, Software, Weapons ‘N’ Roses and Slayer.
