Ministry‘s Al Jourgensen has defined why he is “placing a bow” on the band he is led since 1981.

Jourgensen has beforehand introduced his intention to dissolve the industrial-metal pioneers after another album and a closing world tour. He has invited his former musical associate Paul Barker, who labored with him on each album from 1988’s The Land Of Rape And Honey via to 2003’s Animositisomina, to assist write and produce what can be Ministry’s seventeenth and closing report, to shut out a outstanding profession.

Talking on Full Metallic Jackie’s podcast, Jourgensen says, “Paul Barker was an integral a part of that and he’s a part of these recordings now as properly. I’m simply placing a pleasant little bow on a pleasant little profession.”

“We’re going to do one closing album and one closing tour and it’s not going to be like Kiss. I’m not going to be coming again each week or month, or enjoying all of the casinos.”
