Chicago blackened loss of life metallic outfit Marrowomb is the brainchild of 1 Frank Lato, who handles the guitar, bass, synth and vocal duties within the band alongside session drummer Kevin Paradis (Benighted). The ensuing product is Phisenomie, Marrowomb’s debut album, a potent concoction that walks the road between technical, symphonic and traditional loss of life metallic. Although Phisenomie doesn’t come out till February 21, Decibel has an unique premiere of “Phantasia Katalepteke,” second monitor launched from Marrowomb’s debut.
Because the opening monitor, it packs every little thing one would need to learn about a brand new band in a straightforward 4 minutes and 44 seconds.
“This was one of many first songs that was totally written and it ended up setting the stage for the remainder of the report,” Lato tells Decibel. “It closely contributed to my motivation for creating the remainder of the album. I recall having to make little to no tweaks to its type, and I used to be fairly completely happy about how naturally all of it occurred. That is in distinction to a number of the opposite songs, which took rather more work to compose. I selected Phantasia because the opening monitor for the album attributable to its velocity, simplistic circulation, and memorability. The principle lyrical themes revolve across the duality of self and the way one can wrestle with two (and even a number of) methods to current oneself outwardly. And in that wrestle, it might probably typically be arduous to know which one feels probably the most genuine. This ties into the overarching theme of the album.”
Test it out beneath; Phisenomie is out there for pre-order by way of Bandcamp.
