Going again to the early ’80s, Chicago has a protracted repute for noisy industrial rock. The house of Contact & Go and Wax Trax! Data, town has churned out many years of aggressive, edgy bands. New trio, Burndy, follows that custom in unconventional vogue, as illuminated on their new single. “Static,” taken from their upcoming self-titled debut. Burndy was produced by Megan Emish and Sanford Parker. It was recorded at Electrical Audio and Hypercube Studios in October 2023, and engineered and blended by Sanford Parker.
