Malevolence have dropped one other monitor from upcoming new album ‘The place Solely The Fact Is Spoken’.
Vocalist Alex Taylor describes ‘Salt The Wound’ as “the product of us making a acutely aware determination to bridge the 2 faces of Malevolence. On one hand we’ve got the heavy aggressive aspect, and on the opposite we’ve got the slower melodic songs, so we needed a track that would mix the 2.
The video was fully shot in Sheffield and the encircling areas. From the economic depths of Sheffield, a 900-year-old ruined Abbey, to an ideal dawn over among the unbelievable hills of Derbyshire, there’s some unbelievable surroundings within the north of the UK which we generally take with no consideration, so this track felt like the right alternative to point out case a few of that.
From the second I heard the guitar solo Josh had written for this track, I pictured him on a mountain prime doing the solo, so we made it occur, Malev fashion!”
