Provided that tomorrow is Halloween and this weekend is Day of the Useless in Mexico, I’m specializing in songs appropriate for the events, some spooky, some pleased.

The Useless Dance, single by Woman Gaga.   Launched alongside Tim Burton’s Wednesday season 2. Traditional Gaga pop however with a spooking edge, a really sharp edge.  Stream in all places.

Dracula by Tame Impala – Psychedelic horror from the brand new album Deadbeat.​ Good music.  They pulled off unsettling and earworm.  Stream in all places.

All people Scream, single by Florence + the Machine. New haunting observe and coven-themed music video.​  I like F+M and that is no exception…however it’s.  Spooking organ music, devilish choir, and Florene’s voice in a scary set with low octaves and high-pitched screams.  Wow!.  Stream on Spotify and all main platforms.

Archbishop Harold Holmes by Jack White. Speaking horror humor with White’s screaming guitar and really quick, very intelligent preacher-style lyrics.  Scary on a number of ranges.  Stream on Spotify and all main platforms.

Calaverita de Azúcar (Sugar Cranium) by Carlos Azucuaga.  Official Day of the Useless music celebrating Mexican traditions.  Youngsters singing the praises of the sugar skulls they suck on throughout Dia de Muertos.  Illustrates the enjoyable of the vacation (versus the horror of Halloween.  It is going to make you smile all day. La Llorona single by Lizi Lay. Mexico’s traditional story of mourning by the cantante recognized for soulful vocals, intricate guitar riffs, and ethereal synthesizer preparations. This rendition of La Llorona is extremely private, Lay’s trademark.  It brings the grief of the legendary wandering mom shut so you’re feeling it.  Stream on Spotify and different main platforms.
