Montreal/Stockholm progressive metalers Voidchaser, are dropping their newest EP, Belief, on March 7, and so they’re sharing it with us first. The report is their follow-up to the 2024 launch Solace and comes forward of an intensive tour that might be introduced quickly.
“Belief picks up instantly after the occasions of Solace,” says vocalist and rhythm guitarist Chad Bernatchez. “Our protagonist is drifting throughout the huge vacancy of house, because the reserve oxygen tanks from the swimsuit hold him alive and scenes from his life move them by. The primary music, ‘Time,’ depicts our protagonist having to say goodbye to somebody who he was very near. The second music, ‘Dogma,’ depicts our protagonist having to make an inconceivable determination, leading to forsaking another person he was very near. Lastly, the title observe depicts our protagonist unapologetically committing his total life to somebody solely to have his belief damaged and their sense of self be misplaced within the course of.
“We collaborated with musicians from all world wide on this EP, and it’s very cool to have had the chance to try this. We have now plenty of love for the musicians that accepted to be on it and really feel extremely honored that we made one thing they needed to be part of.
“This EP could be very particular to us as a result of it marks the tip of a chapter for Voidchaser. We’re very happy with how far we now have come because the band has began, and there may be nothing we might have accomplished in another way.
